First there are nightmares.
Every night Ellie is haunted by terrifying dreams of monstrous creatures that are hunting her, killing her.

Then come the memories.
When Ellie meets Will, she feels on the verge of remembering something just beyond her grasp. His attention is intense and romantic, and Ellie feels like her soul has known him for centuries. On her seventeenth birthday, on a dark street at midnight, Will awakens Ellie's power, and she knows that she can fight the creatures that stalk her in the grim darkness. Only Will holds the key to Ellie's memories, whole lifetimes of them, and when she looks at him, she can no longer pretend anything was just a dream.

Now she must hunt.
Ellie has power that no one can match, and her role is to hunt and kill the reapers that prey on human souls. But in order to survive the dangerous and ancient battle of the angels and the Fallen, she must also hunt for the secrets of her past lives and truths that may be too frightening to remember.

With the New Popular Subject of Angels and Fallen, and the fact that this is not the first time I've read about Angelic reapers and Demonic reapers makes me say that beyond this fact the book was actually very EXTRAORDINARY.

When I started reading this book, I can't stop myself from turning every pages of it. There are no dull moments with this book the humor and the vivid creativeness of the author will totally hook you up.

The characters gave justice to the story. Ellie, beyond the vulnerability she shows in the story also portrayed the image of a strong and will powered woman. She maybe described as a seventeen year old at this book, but hell, she can totally kill those reapers if she wants to. And Will, the heroine's point of attraction is definitely a guy who knows how to ruin everyone's mood. Hahahahha.! But I must say that beyond that aloofness lies a man who is willing to sacrifice anything for the person he love.

There are lots of things you will definitely crave for once you read this book (this is base on how I feel):

First: ELLIE's DAD. I mean come on! He was described as a loving father to Ellie before he became totally different. He hated Ellie as she grew up. (What the hell happened??). And The time when Will met his DAD, Will said : "He smells like Blood".. (Uh uh, what does that Mean?)

Second: CADAN. After Ellie met him in their Halloween party (correct me if i'm wrong) he just intrigued me so much why Will is acting so strange and threatened. Although for me, he seemed harmless (based on how he was being describe). And the scene where Bastian found where they took the sarcophagus. Cadan seems to be in favor of Ellie and Will. So, is he in Ellie's side or the other way around?

Third: BASTIAN. Ellie knew him, atleast that's what she thinks. The familiarity was all disturbing to ignore that kept me thinking is BASTIAN someone Ellie knew? Someone from her friends? Her family? Cause you know, If there is one thing that are all similar with the books I read, that is twist and turns that the people or villians in book you don't usually focus on your attention are those characters who will totally surprise you in the end. So who's BASTIAN?

Anyway, all in all I must say that this BOOK is a THUMBS UP! Definitely waiting for the next sequel. Hope the second book is as good as this one. 5 STARS for this.
